I am very proud to be the owner of the FACE TIME Website, I am based in Guildford Surrey, so am able to cover The Surrey borders of London, Hampshire, Berkshire, Kent and Sussex. I am also happy to cover weddings further afield and abroad if required. I have travelled to several countries over the years for my TV, film and Wedding assignments including Ireland, USA and South Africa. Which is one of the best parts of my job!

In 1993 I decided to realise my dream of becoming a professional make-up artist. I began my training at the Guildford College of Further and Higher Education studying for an NVQ level 2 in Beauty Therapy.

During this time I attended the Carlton London Tonight Studio's where I gained my first real experience of the career I intended to follow.

I trained at the Delamar Academy of Make-up in London, for Fashion & Photographic Make-up and also Advanced Fashion Make-up.

Working as an in-store artist for MAC Cosmetics for several years helped me gain experience with lots of faces and skin types and I had a chance to experiment with product colours, textures and styles. I found my personal style of makeup was a very natural "less is more" look. My aim is to enhance natural beauty.

I then began my move into Bridal styling. I quickly found there was a great demand for hair and makeup together and so trained at L'Oreal Professional, where I found I had a flare for hair up styling, which I now thoroughly enjoy, to keep my skills up to date and stay on top of the latest developments in the industry I regularly attend various courses seminars, such as Patrick Cameron Seminars.

After just 2 years of freelance wedding work, I found I was becoming booked very quickly and so to be able to recommend other artists with similar experience to me I began a small network of local artists. Now years on Face Time has become one of the leading names in bridal styling, I am very proud to be the owner of this company and am totally confident in my team and the concept of working within a network of professionals. Even as Face Time grows from strength to strength I know I will always be keen to continue with my freelance wedding work as it has been my passion since childhood.

I also regularly work on fashion shoots and TV and Film, also Commercials. I am also a guest presenter on QVC, representing Royal Brush. But although I love this variety in my work, still after all these years, my passion is my wedding work, being a true romantic soul, I get no better feeling than to know I have helped make a girl feel like a princess on her big day, and also feel humble and incredibley lucky to be part of such a wonderful and personal part of one of the most important days of any girls life!
