Resumé
I first realized I had a passion for makeup when I was completing my 2 year Diploma in Fashion and styling back in 2002. I then decided to continue on and enroll in the well renowned Brushstrokes School for makeup specializing in Television and Film. There I learnt a broad range of different skills and qualified in a variety of makeup, including beauty, high fashion, catwalk ,bridal ,photography and prosthetics.
From there onwards I went to work on various assignments, including The Brits, Photo shoots for Tony & Guy and corporate and beauty events. I started to develop an interest in wedding makeup was pleased to join the Facetime Network of Artists in 2005. My main focus has been this since the day I joined and over the years I have accumulated many clients who now come to me on a regular basis when they have an important event to go to and need me to deliver that WOW factor, which I believe I do very well!!
I regularly attend courses and seminars including the mac master classes, where i am always learning new techniques from top celebrity makeup artists so I'm always up to date with new trends and to ensure that red carpet look! I am also the Resident Makeup Artist for the exclusive hair salon Antony Laban in Clapham London where i pamper their clients and give them make up tips.
On your wedding day, I understand and appreciate how important it is to walk into that room and look and feel amazing! My aim is to perfect what is already there ,but I am also very versatile and can create any look that you want. My Clients always have a big smile on their face when I pack up my tools!
We will first do a trial make up session where we will discuss what sort of look you want ,whether it be a barely there natural look or a more vintage blushed lips and flicked out eye liner, anything can be achieved its up to you .We will then ensure the dress, shoes and accessories are expertly coordinated. The point of the trial is so i get it exactly right, if this means trying a few different styles then that is fine, it’s what I'm here for. I want everything perfect on the day and want you to be happy.
I only use the highest quality makeup that will last the full day and remain looking as it did when it was applied. The brands I use are Mac, Bobby Brown, Channel, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Nars, Chantecaille, and Laura Mercier. However if you have any special requirements then we can always arrange something else and I can perhaps help you to pick out some new products.
I also offer makeup lessons and pamper parties to those of you that want to know learn more about makeup, to maximize your look and have some fun with it! There will be group discounts for 5 or more people.
