I have been working as a professional make-up artist for nearly ten years. I have always had a creative and passionate flare for art so when I finished my art degree I decided to become a Professional Make-up and hair Artist.
I trained in London at Greasepaint International school of Television, Film and Theatre where I gained extensive training of all aspects of Make-up and Hair.
Whilst working in the Make-up industry I have worked on Various Television programs and documentaries such as Bloomburg News, The Community Channel, Stafford Castle Documentary, and NHS Documentaries etc... I have been featured in a reality TV Program called “Hired or Fired” on Sky TV. I have also done various theatre and film productions.
I have also ventured into the Fashion and Editorial industry with various shoots and events for Impact Model Management, Moda and IFM events, Also various magazines and Newspapers such as - The Daily Express, Now Magazine, Woman’s, Weekly, Prima Magazine, Love It Magazine and Real People Magazine.
I also feature in ‘Your Wedding’ West Midlands Magazine on the expert page for questions and answers (Make-up and hair section)
One of the most rewarding things I have done is giving career talks to potential future make-up artists at Birmingham City College.
Like my other work I have a keen interest in Bridal hair and make-up… I love working with brides and creating the perfect look for their special day. I have extensive experience in all aspects of bridal make-up and hair techniques and I use a wide variety of products i.e.- Mac, Estee Lauder, Bobbie Brown, YSL, Dior etc… not every brand suits every skin type or tone so variety is needed.
I offer a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a wide service of hair and make-up available for Brides, Bridesmaids, Mothers, Friends, Engagement Parties, Proms and any other special event. I’m also able to provide foundation airbrushing for a flawless finish!!
I am a mobile freelance make-up and hair artist and I also own a hair salon In Bearwood, Birmingham called Salon-G (any hair services available)
I usually perform bridal trials at my salon and then I come out to you on your big day!
My main base is Birmingham in the West Midlands but I will travel nationwide or abroad if required.
