I have 15 years experience as a freelance make up artist working within the Music, Advertising, Fashion and Entertainment industries and as a member of Neutrogena's 'Panel of Experts' feature regularly in Glamour Magazine giving skincare and beauty tips. I have also worked for 5 years as a Retail Artist for MAC Cosmetics, which has given me a particular aptitude for working with the public and determining the specific needs of the individual. I have been doing bridal make up for the last 5 years as an additional string to my bow and love the fact that I can make someone feel fabulous and confident on their big day.
The first ten minutes of your trial will involve us having a chat so I can find out as much about your needs, personality and taste as possible. It's also a good idea if you can gather together any pictures from magazines of make up styles you like (these can be from bridal magazines or from fashion or celebrity magazines, I'm used to working with all styles of make up) that way I can get a clear idea of the kind of styles you like which can then be adapted to suit you, make the best of your features and to complement the colours you will be wearing and carrying (flowers!) on the day.
With vintage and retro styles and themes becoming ever more popular, I should point out that along with contemporary and classic make up styles I also specialise in the glamorous looks of days gone by, whether you are looking for an authentic vintage look or just a hint of inspiration from a particular era - from the 1920s to modern day.
Please note, I am a Make up Artist and don't do hair myself but work closely as a team with a couple of very good hairstylists so will be happy to make the necessary arrangements. Please do specify if you would like a retro look on the day as I have a particular hairdresser on my team who specialised in this area too.

My fashion portfolio is very diverse so don't be frightened by some of the more "edgy" styles. I won't try to do anything like that on you... that is, of course, unless you really want me to! All brides have different needs after all.
