Resumé

I have been a makeup artist for 7 years now. I started my career in South Africa after completing a 7 month course at Face to Face Beauty School. I did mainly bridal work to begin with and then decided to work at M.A.C. as I absolutely love their products! I stayed at M.A.C. for a year and a half still doing bridal but also got invited to do a lot of fashion shows and events with M.A.C.

Eventually I moved into TV, music videos, film and photographic shoots where I have met some amazing and talented people. I also worked as a personal artist to a celebrity just before I moved to the UK.

I have recently completed my second makeup course only this time I have included hair. I feel it is important to keep updating your skills as there is always something new and exciting to learn. Through my last course I was asked to work on British Vogue with a fantastic artist who has been in the industry for many years and whom I greatly admire! I love my job it's extremely rewarding and that's one of the reasons why I have decided to get back into bridal!

I love seeing the appreciation and the satisfaction on a brides face as she has her final glance in the mirror. It's so wonderful to be a part of that special day…
