My career started as a freelance tutor at Ravensbourne College of Art & Design which led to 6.5 years work in the broadcast industry studio directing a variety of shows, not only for broadcast TV (BBC, Sky & cable networks) but also for on-line, video on demand & mobile mediums.
During this time I realised my passion for make up and attended the long established make up school, Greasepaint. This enabled me to transfer my skills to television make up. Firstly, with TV presenters, guests & location make up and then moving on to further training with The Academy of Freelance Makeup in London. The Academy is at the forefront of training world-famous fashion; photographic, and wedding make up artists.
