My career in hair and make-up began in 1987 when I attended the Morris School of Hairdressing in London to train as a hairdresser.

Once qualified, I worked as a stylist for a large salon chain for the next two years.

My move into make-up came in 1991 when I attended the Dawn Cragg School of Make-up in Nottinghamshire for a one year full-time course, training in all aspects of make-up.

I now have over fifteen years experience as a hair and make-up artist and still love it as much as the day I started!

My work has been varied. For six years, I worked full-time at a television studio in London. I have also spent several years freelancing in television, bridal work and general hairdressing.

In 2000, one of my brides featured on the front cover of "Hello!" magazine.

I use top quality hair and make-up products, including Wella, L'Oreal, MAC, Chantecaille, Lancome, Clinique, Laura Mercier and Stila as well as some professional brands.

I belong to two professional organisations: - The Freelance Hair and Beauty Federation and The National Association of Screen Make-up Artists and Hairdressers.

I regularly attend courses, seminars and trade shows to keep my skills and industry knowledge updated.
